Yes, you read right: the first TV spot for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has landed. Like with The Force Awakens, it would appear that no stone is being left unturned for its marketing campaign.
Annoyingly, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of new footage (for the most part it’s a slight remix of the first teaser), and it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for the one that everyone at Celebration saw, but in the meantime, here it is:
Starring are Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Wen Jiang, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendolsohn, Forest Whitaker, Alan Tudyk, Mads Mikkelsen and many more. Gareth Edwards is directing from a script penned by Chris Weitz, John Knoll and Gary Whitta.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released in cinemas on 16 December 2016.
