Preacher Season 2 trailer has superpowers, new characters and…Hitler?

A lot of violence, some new faces and general excellence in new Preacher trailer

A new trailer for Preacher Season 2 has arrived and it shows off some of the new additions to the cast as well as some New Orleans-set scrapping, some of Jesse enjoying his superpower a little too much and Tulip punching Cassidy in the face. Check it out below:

So it looks like Pip Torrens will indeed by playing Herr Starr, the Grail’s chief operative who is relentless, driven and unflinching, and who endures some of the most incredible indignities that Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon could cook up over the course of the comics.

Also, it definitely looks like brilliant character actor Noah Taylor will be playing none other than Adolf Hitler, judging by his look and the fact that he seems to be in the same place as poor Eugene…It’s just a quick glimpse of him, but it would seem that the Preacher team are big fans of the film Max.

The trailer also makes it very clear that The Cowboy (aka The Saint Of Killers) is hot on the gang’s trail and we can’t wait to see more of Graham McTavish’s gunslinging badass in action.

Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Ian Colletti, Graham McTavish, Tom Brooke, Anatol Yusef, with new additions Noah Taylor, Pip Torrens, Julie-Ann Emory, Malcolm Barrett, Ronald Guttman, and Justin Prentice.

Preacher Season 2 will be available to stream on Amazon Prime in the UK from 26 June. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
