A new featurette for the upcoming Power Rangers reboot has arrived, and the cast, including Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Banks and Bill Hader, are very excited about bringing something fresh to this universe.
There’s also a new clip featuring Becky G as Trini, aka the Yellow Ranger.
Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
The movie stars Naomi Scott, Becky G, Dacre Montgomery, Ludi Lin and RJ Cyler as the five leads, with Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, Bryan Cranston as Zordon and Bill Hader as Alpha 5. Dean Israelite is directing from a script penned by John Gatins, Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless, Michele Mulroney and Kieran Mulroney.
