Monster House and City Of Ember director Gill Kenan has signed on for MGM’s long-mooted remake of Tobe Hooper’s 1982 horror classic Poltergeist, according to Deadline.
This incarnation of the movie is being produced by Evil Dead and Drag Me To Hell splatter powerhouse Sam Raimi, with a script by Rise Of The Guardians‘ David Lindsay-Abaire.
