Phantasm 5 is confirmed bringing the Tall Man back

Don Coscarelli’s horror classic gets another sequel with Phantasm: Ravager

Phantasm 5 Ravager

Don Coscarelli’s classic horror movie Phantasm is getting a long-awaited new instalment with sequel Phantasm V: Ravager.

AICN broke the news and revealed the new poster, while Bloody Disgusting added some more details. Coscarelli is supervising the film, but Ravager is written and directed by David Hartman.

Reggie Bannister, Angus Scrimm and Kat Lester return to reprise their roles in the film that the Phantasm Archives reports has been in production since 2008, with the provisional title Reggie’s Tales.

There’s no word on when Phantasm: Ravager will arrive on our screens, but it’s good to know that the flying silver spheres will be drilling into people’s heads again and Angus Scrimm will be shouting “Booooooy!!!” again soon. At the very least, it’s an excuse to watch the original again.

You can buy Phantasm 1-4 on DVD for £42.20 at Amazon.co.uk.
