Passengers new poster crops its stars’ faces again

We still can’t see their entire faces in the new Passengers poster

Maybe we’re quibbling here (in fact, there’s a very good chance we are), but surely when you have two of the most bankable stars as your leads, you’d make every effort to put them front and centre, right?

In fairness, the promotional campaign for Passengers seems to be doing exactly that, only with one caveat: none of the posters released thus far have actually shown their entire faces. As you will see below, they’ve done it again:

Admittedly, you can still see most of Christ Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence in this poster, but not all of them. Sorry, it’s been a long week. Anyways, here’s the official synopsis for Passengers, directed by Morten Tyldum, written by Jon Spaihts and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Michael Sheen, Andy Garcia and Laurence Fishburne, below:

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are two passengers onboard a spaceship transporting them to a new life on another planet. The trip takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them 90 years before they reach their destination. As Jim and Aurora try to unravel the mystery behind the malfunction, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction… only to be threatened by the imminent collapse of the ship and the discovery of the truth behind why they woke up.

Passengers will be released in cinemas on 21 December 2016. For all the latest movie news, pick up the new issue of SciFiNow.
