Paranormal Activity 3 teaser trailer appears

Indie horror hit becomes a full-blown franchise

The second follow up to the stark and shocking ‘found footage’ 2007 horror movie, a first look at Paranormal Activity 3 suggests we’ll be heading into some prequel territory.

Written by Michael R Perry who also wrote the second film, as well as writing and/or producing episodes of Millennium, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Dead Zone, House, and amazingly, 1991 kiddie frightener Eerie Indiana, and Oren Peli, who wrote the first and second film, recent hit Insidious and forthcoming supernatural mystery series The River, it looks like it’s in safe hands.

Predictably released October 21 in time for Halloween, you can check out the teaser trailer below:
