A new look at the cast of Orphan Black Season Two has been released, along with a clip showing Tatiana Maslany’s new clone.
The clip (from EW) shows new clone Jennifer Fitzsimmons, “a 28-year old teacher and swim coach,” who suffered from the same illness that brainy Cosima is dealing with.
Co-creator John Fawcett told EW that “Jennifer is a clone who was naïve, she didn’t know she was a clone, and was being monitored by her boyfriend. She gets sick, and with a kind of the version of the illness that Katja had. And of course, a version of the illness that Cosima has. Just that discovery alone is the kind of discovery that shakes Cosima. It really rattles her.”
Orphan Black begins on 14 April on BBC America. No UK air date has been announced, although Digital Spy reports that the gap between US and UK airings will be “substantially shorter.”
