The prospect of a Orphan Black-style cliffhanger finale for Season 3 is looking more bearable now that the show has officially scored a forth Season. BBC America has ordered ten more episodes of the sci-fi clone series.

General manager and president of BBC America Sarah Barnett said of the show: “Orphan Black is an entirely fresh and original show that stands out even in today’s crowded TV landscape.

“Tatiana Maslany’s buzzy, virtuoso performance headlines a brilliant cast and we are delighted to let our vocal and passionate fan base know that this wildly entertaining ride will continue next year.”

“We’re thrilled to be moving forward with Season 4 of the Orphan Black saga,” said co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson.

“Huge thanks to our partners Temple Street Productions, and to BBC America and Space. We’re extremely excited about where our story lines are going, and look forward to riding the roller coaster with our amazing fans.”

Are we super excited?
