Actor Dom DeLuise has died in his sleep at the age of 75. DeLuise found fame alongside Burt Reynold’s in capers such as The End, Smokey And The Bandit II, The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, and the Cannonball Run movies. Sci-fi fans perhaps best know him for his hilarious performance in Mel Brooks’s Spaceballs, whom he provided the voice of Pizza The Hutt.
As well as being a prolific comedian, DeLuise also appeared on Broadway, was the author of numerous children’s books and even turned his culinary hand to writing a selection of cookbooks.
