NOR-CON 6: Book your tickets now for Norfolk’s unmissable sci-fi event

Everything you need to know about NOR-CON 6, Earth’s friendliest convention

With convention season fast approaching, all you East-based sci-fi and fantasy fans should definitely make time in your schedules to check out NOR-CON 6 on Saturday 8 October 2016, Norfolk’s best convention and still by far one of the loveliest sci-fi and fantasy-themed events we’ve been to. In fact, we actually described it as “The friendliest convention on Earth”, and it’s a description we stand by.

Making this year even more special, 2016 will see NOR-CON 6 switch locations to the Norfolk Showground Arena, with its massive 3000 sq/m capacity providing even more room in which to showcase Nor-Con’s unique range of displays, exhibits, celebrities, talks and loads of traders selling everything from clothing and other merchandise to unique, bespoke cosplay accessories. In short, this is a mecca for geek enthusiasts, and we can’t recommend attending enough.

Come October, get yourself down to NOR-CON 6

In previous years, guests have encompassed some of the genre’s most prominent figures from its most popular shows, such as Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi), Alice Krige (The Borg Queen in Star Trek: First Contact), Robert Llewellyn (Kryten in Red Dwarf) and Dave Prowse (Darth Vader in Star Wars), in addition to TV and movie mainstays like Warwick Davis, Ben Miller and many more, and this year promises the same quality of geeky guest stars, with maybe a surprise or two yet to come.
