Our favourite dysfunctional would-be superheroes are up for two gongs at the BAFTA’s this Sunday, 27 May 2012, with Misfits nominated for Best Drama Series, however this means they’re up against another SciFiNow favourite, BBC3’s recently cancelled The Fades.
Misfits Series 3 star Joe Gilgun is also nominated for Leading Actor, albeit for his work on This Is England ’88 alongside Being Human‘s Michael Socha, in what’ll no doubt be a fierce battle against Sherlock‘s Benedict Cumberbatch, riding high on his forthcoming roles in The Hobbit and Star Trek 2.
