According to The Hollywood Reporter, GI Joe: Retaliation director John M Chu has left Paramount’s Masters Of The Universe movie, while The Lone Ranger co-writer Terry Rossio has come on board.

The site also reports that unlike the 1987 Dolph Lundgren-starred live action film which played merry hell with the mythology (as much as a toy line can have one worthy of respecting), this movie will be set in Eternia – the fantasy kingdom of the hit 1983 cartoon/action figures.
