
Kick Ass, Wanted, The Ultimates and Civil War writer Mark Millar has teamed up with legendary Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons for The Secret Service, which is co-plotted by Kick Ass and X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn, who is also working on turning it into a movie.
The Secret Service is a love letter to classic Bond-era spy films in which an inner city youth is taught how to be a suave super-spy and opens with the kidnap of Mark Hamill (who’ll play himself in the movie version), The Hollywood Reporter have a preview of the first eight pages of issue 1, which goes on sale this Wednesday, 11 April 2012 through Millar’s creator-owned Marvel line, Millarworld, priced $2.99.
