Prolific writer, actor and genre stalwart Mark Gatiss has announced a follow-up to his three-part A History Of Horror for BBC Four, saying on Twitter, “Very pleased to say I’m making a follow-up to my History Of Horror for BBC Four: Euro Horror! At last Nosferatu gets its due.
“I was bombarded with messages last time asking ‘Where was Nosferatu?!’ It’ll be a personal history, as before, as it’s a big subject. Rights issues make DVD very unlikely, as with first one. Sorry!”
Aside from FW Murnau 1922 silent movie landmark Nosferatu, Gatiss also mentioned he would be speaking to Italian horror master Dario Argento.
