Following previous rumblings, rumours and announcements fellow Frog brothers Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander have publicly confirmed that they are returning to the Lost Boys franchise. Speaking to Bloody Disgusting, the two was in high spirits about appearing in Lost Boys: The Thirst.
“It’s the return of the Frog brothers officially, we can say that,” Feldman stated to the horror website.
The plot for Lost Boys: The Thirst has already mapped out, and the story sees a down on his luck Edgar Frog being enlisted by a wealthy writer to hunt down some vampires. With a little help from his friends it’s then up to Edgar to go on a rescue mission – armed with all the usual utensils. Speaking about the film’s story, Feldman was insistent that changes would be made following the lukewarm response Lost Boys: The Tribe received.
“I can tell you that we are definitely amping up everything including the storyline,” he says. “That’s a very important piece of it. Last time, people liked the second film, but they didn’t love it. For us what’s really important is that the fans get everything they want out of this situation.”
Lost Boys: The Thirst is scheduled to begin shooting in November. Dario Piana is the man directing this project and he will be working from a script written by Evan Charnov.
