Directed by Gretel & Hansel’s Osgood Perkins and produced and starring Nicolas Cage, upcoming supernatural horror Longlegs (which is already being hailed as one of the scariest movies of the year) has a confirmed release date of July and a pretty terrifying new trailer.

The movie follows an FBI agent who, in pursuit of a serial killer, uncovers a series of occult clues that she must solve to end his terrifying killing spree.
Written and directed by Osgood Perkins, the movie stars Maika Monroe (It Follows), Blair Underwood (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Alicia Witt (1984’s Dune), and Nicolas Cage (Arcadian).
Longlegs will be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 12 July
