Life new poster sends a chilling, chiselled message

Three human stars on the poster for Life, but no monster…yet

A new poster for sci-fi horror Life has arrived, which shows off the three big stars and drops a little hint about who the fourth might be (where are you, terrifying, rapidly evolving alien parasite monster…)

Life stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Olga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare, Alexandre Nguyen, Hiu Woong-Sin and Camiel Warren-Taylor. The film is directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House) and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland).

Life is a terrifying sci-fi thriller about a team of scientists aboard the International Space Station whose mission of discovery turns to one of primal fear when they find a rapidly evolving life form that caused extinction on Mars, and now threatens the crew and all life on Earth.”

We’re always up for a sci-fi horror and this one looks like it could be very good. The cast is ace, we’re up for seeing the writers of Zombieland and Deadpool try their hand at something more straight-faced, and, frankly, if you tell us that there’s a film set in space with an alien creature eating the crew, we will we see that film.

Life is in cinemas from 24 March. Get all the latest science fiction news with every issue of SciFiNow.
