The more we hear about the upcoming Lego Batman movie, the more we unashamedly can’t wait for it. Part of the reason for this is the excellent cast – it’s hard to think of anyone better for the roles they’ve been assigned to. As if to hammer home the point, another great addition has been made: Ralph Fiennes as Batman’s loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Harry Potter and Spectre star will join a cast that already includes Will Arnett (Batman), Michael Cera (Robin) and Rosario Dawson (Batgirl), with Zach Galifianakis apparently in negotiations to play the Joker.
With this bit of news, another name on our wish list has been ticked off, and we’re sure there is plenty more to come. Few heroes have as strong a supporting cast or rogues’ gallery as the Dark Knight, and we can’t wait to see who they have lined up for the likes of Catwoman, Penguin, Riddler et al…
