Get even more excited for Legion with these awesome promo videos

X-Men spin-off Legion isn’t set to premiere until early next year. But network FX has gone as sneaked out a couple of promos anyway, and it looks damn good.

The first gives a little bit of background into the story, and features Dan Steven’s protagonist David Haller switching places with Rachel Keller’s Syd after the two share a kiss. The second one is just a wonderful mini-promo with Stevens and Aubrey Plaza starring at a guy. Check them out:

You can read the official synopsis for Legion here:

Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real. Legion debuts in early 2017 and is produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television.

Legion stars Dan Stevens as David Haller, Rachel Keller as Syd, Jean Smart as Melanie, Aubrey Plaza as Lenny, Jeremie Harris as Ptonomy, Amber Midthunder as Kerry, Katie Aselton as Amy, and Bill Irwin as Shrink Man.

It was created by Noah Hawley (Fargo) and executive produced by Hawley, Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory and John Cameron.

Legion will air on FX in the US in 2017, with a UK channel and air date to be announced. You can download The 25 Greatest Marvel Comics digital edition from GreatDigitalMags.com now. For more news about the biggest movies, pick up the new issue of SciFiNow.
