Good news, Browncoats! Firefly alum Jewel Staite has been cast in the upcoming superhero series Legends Of Tomorrow.
According to TVLine, Staite will be guest starring as Rachel Turner, a “tech genius/roboticist who exists in a future in which technology has an even firmer grip on our lives than it does today”. Turner is from a long line of inventors (one of which is reportedly set to be from the DC Universe), and seeks to use her inventions to make the world a better place.
Staite will make her first Legends Of Tomorrow appearance in Season 1, episode 10. Though she hasn’t been confirmed to be showing up in more than one episode, it’s likely that the Berlanti Universe will bring her back in some way.
Other guest stars for the show’s first season include Ali Liebert (Bomb Girls), Stephanie Corneliusse (Mr Robot) and Matt Nable (Arrow).
