Hot damn. Kong: Skull Island has gone and done it again. How does every new poster for this film just make us want to see it more? They’re just doing their job, we guess… Obviously this Japanese version is quite different compared to the posters released before now, but it’s also really weird, which is a great thing in this case.

You can read the official synopsis for the film here:

Warner Bros Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ Kong: Skull Island reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer).

In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific – as beautiful as it is treacherous – unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.

Kong: Skull Island will be released in cinemas on 10 March 2017. For all the latest movie news, pick up the new issue of SciFiNow.
