While rumours swirl about John C Reilly and Samuel L Jackson stepping into the roles previously occupied by Michael Keaton and JK Simmons, Kong: Skull Island has gone ahead and cast another actor entirely.
THR reports that the excellent Toby Kebbell is the latest name to jump on board the Legendary monster movie directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. The star of Fantastic Four and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes will join Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and Corey Hawkins, making a very strong cast even stronger.
There aren’t any details about Kebbell’s role at the moment, but it’s another big project for the actor, who’s also appearing in Duncan Jones’ Warcraft, Stephen Gaghan’s Gold, Timur Bekmambetov’s Ben-Hur and JA Bayona’s A Monster Calls. We’re very big fans of Kebbell’s, and any Kebbell casting news is good news.
Kong: Skull Island will be released on 10 March 2017 in the UK. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
