Kong: Skull Island adds Jurassic World writer

Jurassic World writer is the latest to journey to Kong: Skull Island, Margarita guy status unknown

King KongWhile Kong: Skull Island continues to finalise its cast, another pair of hands has been brought on to work on the script for Legendary’s latest monster mash.

THR reports that Jurassic World and Safety Not Guaranteed writer Derek Connolly has signed on to have a bash at the screenplay, written by Max Borenstein (Godzilla). Dan Gilroy (Nightcrawler) and John Gatins (Flight) have also had a go.

The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and Corey Hawkins, while Samuel L Jackson, John C Reilly, Russell Crowe and Tom Wilkinson have all been rumoured to be circling the project. JK Simmons and Michael Keaton dropped out after the shoot moved and scheduling became an issue.
