Starbuck fans, rejoice: according to Deadline, Battlestar Galactica actor Katee Sackhoff is heading back to space in her own sci-fi drama series.
Titled Another Life, the series is being produced by Alias Grace‘s Halfire Entertainment for Netflix, which has already given it a 10-episode order.
The show will revolve around “astronaut Niko Breckinridge (Sackhoff) who is focused on searching for alien intelligence. She leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artefact. As Niko and her young crew investigate, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission.”
Another Life was created by Aaron Martin of Slasher, Saving Hope and DeGrassi: The Next Generation fame. Martin will also serve as showrunner. Noreen Halpern is executive producing for Halfire.
