We’re huge fans of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead’s work so we’re thrilled to hear that the makers of Resolution, Spring and The Endless are getting to work on their new movie, and they’ve landed two impressive names.
Deadline reports that Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan have been cast as the two leads in Synchronic, playing “two New Orleans paramedics, whose lives are ripped apart after encountering a series of horrific deaths linked to a designer drug with bizarre, otherworldly effects.”
Following the beguiling cult chills of The Endless, the creature feature love story of Spring and the uncanny two-hander that is Resolution, Synchronic definitely sounds like an interesting change of pace for the filmmakers and we cannot wait to see what they come up with.
The duo released a statement, saying “Being huge fans of the nuanced, brilliant work of Anthony and Jamie, this is a filmmaker’s wildest dream come true. They each possess an extraordinary depth of personal experiences, humor, and pathos that brings a massive wellspring of humanity to the battle-scarred partnership being portrayed.
