The Wall Street Journal have released a burst of new information from Warner Bros, not least of which is news that the long-mooted Justice League movie will be going ahead with Man Of Steel‘s Zack Snyder.
The line-up will be presumably based around the characters featured in Batman Vs Superman – Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg.
Other characters rumoured at vary stages to be appearing are Aquaman and Martian Manhunter, while it’s unknown what impact TV considerations will have on Green Arrow, The Flash, and whether Green Lantern can overcome his own failed franchise starter.
The paper also reports that the following DC properties are being developed at Warner Bros’ New Line Cinema: Shazam, following the Golden Age Captain Marvel, Metal Men, based around the Silver Age element-themed superteam created by Doctor Will Magnus, Fables, based on Bill Willingham’s Vertigo classic, and 100 Bullets, based on the crime/conspiracy thriller by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso.
