Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s Justice League opener sold out in less than 24 hours in the States, with a second printing already announced. The book is the first of DC’s ‘New 52’ event, which, for the uninitiated, will roll out 52 issue one comic books over the course of September, with the intention of new readers picking up the books. It’s a great start, but it’s where the book will be six months from now that will offer the most interesting evidence of the strategy’s success.
