Fantastic news: Jurassic World 3 is officially set to reunite some of the core cast from the original 1993 Jurassic Park film.
Returning players include Laura Dern as Dr Ellie Sattler, Sam Neill as Dr Alan Grant and Jeff Goldblum as Dr Ian Malcolm.
Though Goldblum made a small cameo appearance in last year’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, director Colin Trevorrow revealed at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood this week that the next film in the rebooted series will feature the trio in sizeable roles.
Plot details surrounding Jurassic World 3 are being kept under wraps for the time being, but Jurassic World regulars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt and Isabelle Sermon are set to reprise their roles as Claire Dearing, Owen Grady and Maisie respectively.
Trevorrow, who helmed Jurassic World and wrote the screenplays for Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, will direct from a script by himself and Emily Carmichael, based on a story by Derek Connolly. Trevorrow’s other directing credits include Safety Not Guaranteed and The Book Of Henry. He is also a co-writer for upcoming film Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.
