Jonathan Ross’s Turf book optioned for movie adaptation

Jonathan Ross and Tommy Lee Edwards’ vampire/gangster book Turf rights are snapped up for film production

A movie based on the Jonathan Ross and Tommy Lee Edwards comic book Turf might be on the way. The film rights have been snapped up by production company BenderSpink, according to Deadline. The book, released in collected form earlier in the year, sees vampires and gangsters fighting for territory against the backdrop of the prohibition, and it isn’t particularly great, despite the lovely artwork. In the past, Benderspink has produced films like A History Of Violence, Red Eye and Arthur. There’s no word on any talent involved with this potential film.
