A sequel to 2001’s fondly remembered Jeepers Creepers and its less-than-wonderful 2003 follow-up, Jeepers Creepers 2, is finally in production.
According to Shock Til You Drop, they heard from an insider that a day of shooting is already in the can, although original writer/director Victor Salva was unable to confirm, he did add that “There may finally be some very good news for those waiting for the third Jeepers film to go before the cameras.”
Speaking exclusively to SciFiNow way back in 2009, star Ray Wise teased Jeepers Creepers 3, saying, “I can tell you that basically it’s going to pick up right from where we left off in 2 – waiting for the Creeper to jump off the barn wall. Then it’s going to go from there and there’s going to be some interesting new characters added to the mix, who have a direct relationship to my character, the old farmer.”
How much has changed in that time though, who knows? Well… Victor Salva, and when it comes to Jeepers Creepers 3 he’s keeping quiet.
