We were huge fans of 2015’s Goosebumps and we’re definitely very excited to see where the upcoming sequel, Goosebumps: Horrorland, will take us (well, presumably to the terrifying theme park called Horrorland, at least).
One thing has been confirmed, courtesy of RL Stine’s Twitter account: Jack Black will be back as the author.
Yes, there is a script for the Goosebumps movie sequel, and I am told that my evil twin, Jack Black, has signed on. More news to come!

Director Rob Letterman is also returning, as is writer Darren Lemke.
There is no word on whether or not Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush or Ryan Lee will be reprising their roles, but with the film set for a September 2018 release date (October here in the UK), we should expect to start hearing more news very soon. We would also like to formally request the return of at least some of the awesome supporting cast, which included Amy Ryan, Jillian Bell, Timothy Simons, Karan Soni and Ken Marino.
Goosebumps: Horrorland is set for release on 21 September 2018 in the US and 19 October 2018 in the UK. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
