The CW’s coolest DC Comics adaptation by far, iZombie, based on the series by pop-art king Michael Allred and writer Chris Roberson, seems to be struggling to find its way out of the pilot stage as another major character is swapped out.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Nora Dunn – who played Liv’s mother, Eva – is leaving the show.

She’s being replaced by TV veteran Molly Hagan, who voiced Jean Grey in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (because I know you guys care about things like that).

Pick up the first volume of Chris Roberson and Michael Allred’s iZombie for £10.48 from Amazon.co.uk and find out more about the comics that inspired the series with new digital magazine Uncanny Comics.
