Remember Iron Sky? That film where Nazis had been hiding on the moon and come back to Earth? Well, Finnish filmmaker Timo Vuorensola is back and he’s upped the ante (and he’s kept the great Udo Kier, which we’re grateful for). Check out the trailer for Iron Sky: The Coming Race below.
“Twenty years after the events of Iron Sky, the former Nazi Moonbase has become the last refuge of mankind. Earth was devastated by a nuclear war, but buried deep under the wasteland lies a power that could save humanity – or destroy it once and for all.
Iron Sky The Coming Race leads our heroes on an adventure into the Hollow Earth, where they must fight the Vril, an ancient shapeshifting reptilian race and their army of dinosaurs.”
Iron Sky: The Coming Race stars Lara Rossi, Vladimir Burlakov, Kit Dale and Tom Green (yeah, that one). Julia Dietze and Udo Kier will reprise their roles from the first film.
I mean, it’s difficult to know what to say really, isn’t it? You think you’re done with high concept genre movies about resurrected/spacebound Nazis and then they put Hitler on a T-Rex and you just don’t know anymore.
