Needless to say, we are all thrilled with such an amazing achievement.” Iron Man dazzled critics and audiences alike on its opening, and has taken around $550 million worldwide for Paramount and the fledgling Marvel Studios. News on a sequel has been widely reported recently, however, concrete information about directors and a release date has been hard to come by. Robert Downey Junior, however, is widely expected to reprise his role as billionaire industry magnate Tony Stark.
