Zodiac and The Grey star Dermot Mulroney has joined the cast of Insidious: Chapter 3.
Writer-director Leigh Whannell Tweeted that the actor, recently seen in New Girl and Stoker, has officially joined the cast of the Blumhouse-produced horror sequel.
Mulroney joins Whannell, Angus Sampson and Lin Shaye, who are returning as ghost hunters Specs, Tucker and Elise Rainer, as well Wreck-It Ralph‘s Stefanie Scott. Whannell has taken over directing duties from his long-time collaborator James Wan, making his directorial debut. The plot is unknown at this time, although it will move away from Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne’s Lambert family.
