Marvel’s Inhumans movie casts Vin Diesel as Black Bolt?

Guardians Of The Galaxy star Vin Diesel teases his next big Marvel role, Inhumans

Prior to his official casting announcement for Guardians Of The Galaxy, Riddick star and meme-bait Vin Diesel went well out of his way to tease his involvement with the Marvel Studios machine and it looks as though he’s playing the same game with Marvel Phase 3’s Inhumans movie.

The actor posted the following image to his Facebook profile:

Marvel Studios aren’t normally in the habit of double-casting, with Jarvis/The Vision’s Paul Bettany as the exception, but with Vin Diesel’s role limited to growling “I Am Groot!” in Guardians Of The Galaxy, it leaves him free to take on other roles.

Originally when speaking on his Marvel role, Vin Diesel hinted that it was either a smaller role in Guardians now, or a larger role later on and it’s entirely possible that he’s snaffled up both.

As far as we’re concerned, the role is obvious: imagine him as the powerful king of the Inhumans, Black Bolt.

Able to wreak vast devastation with his voice, Vin Diesel would be forced to rely on his pure physicality and few actors are as communicative mute as he has proven to be as the Furyan of few words, Riddick.

Inhumans will be in UK cinemas 26 October 2018. Get all the latest superhero movie news in every new issue of SciFiNow.
