“Steven just said that he cracked the story on it before I left, and I think they’re gearing that up,” said LaBeouf to the BBC in a video interview, but stopped short of saying whether or not he would be reprising his role of ‘Mutt’ Williams in the next sequel. Since then, several news outlets have been carrying the story, but it was Empire who secured the confirmation from Marshall today. “It’s really about the script,” he said to the magazine. “Once we see that, we’ll see. We’re not going to wait another 20 years. We’d all love to make another one. I’m anxious to hear the idea!

Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull was released following an incredibly high wave of anticipation, and it performed well at the box office, although many fans were left disappointed by what they perceived as ridiculous elements in the story. The film currently holds a ‘fresh’ 76% approval rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
