Cannes though, which favours more independent and arthouse-orientated fare, has a frosty track record with Hollywood’s blockbuster output. Ron Howard’s The Da Vinci Code premiered at Cannes back in 2006 and was universally derided by audiences. The fourth Indiana Jones movie stars Harrison Ford as the eponymous archaeologist, and co-stars Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, Ray Winstone and John Hurt.
