Incarnate trailer Aaron Eckhart faces demons in Blumhouse horror

Aaron Eckhart tangles with a demon in the new trailer for Blumhouse horror Incarnate

A new trailer has arrived for long-awaited Aaron Eckhart Blumhouse horror Incarnate, in which The Dark Knight star plays a wheelchair bound semi-exorcist.

The movie has been around for a while now; Eckhart was first cast back in late 2013. It’s directed by San Andreas‘ Brad Peyton and written by Ronnie Christensen (Dark Tide, the 2008 Passengers). The cast is pretty solid, as Eckhart is supported by Carice Van Houten (Game Of Thrones), Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full Of Grace, The Affair), Matt Nable (Riddick) and Emjay Anthony (Krampus), while the little boy in the grip of something terrifying is played by Gotham‘s David Mazouz.

“A scientist with the ability to enter the subconscious minds of the possessed must save a young boy from the grips of a demon with powers never seen before, while facing the horrors of his past.”

To be honest, the fact that this has been sitting on the shelf for so long isn’t massively encouraging, but we can’t imagine a world in which we wouldn’t watch Aaron Eckhart play an exorcist, so you can put us down for at least one ticket.

Incarnate is released on 2 December in the US. No UK release date has been announced. Keep up with the latest horror news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
