Hulk movie based on Mark Waid’s Indestructible Hulk?

Mark Ruffalo solo Hulk movie to be based on Mark Waid and Leinil Francis Yu’s recent Marvel comic?

Mark Waid may not have been hugely impressed by Man Of Steel, partly based on his own Superman: Birthright, his Indestructible Hulk series with artist Leinil Francis Yu looks to be inspiring the storyline for Marvel’s long-mooted third Hulk movie with Avengers Assemble star Mark Ruffalo.

According to ComicBookMovie.com, “So why would this work on the big screen? First of all, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has openly said the key to another Hulk film is Ruffalo’s portrayal of Banner.”

In our review of Waid and Yu’s Indestructible Hulk, we observed, “It’s the best treatment for a third Hulk movie there is going.”
