Hemlock Grove Season Two has been confirmed by Netflix.

The Eli Roth-produced horror series, starring Landon Liboiron, Bill Skarsgård, Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Lili Taylor, Penelope Mitchell, and Freya Tingley, based on the novel by Brian McGreevy split critical opinion (although we were fans, read our review here) but was a bigger hit than their political show House of Cards.

Deadline reports that the second season will be made up of ten episodes and that showrunner Charles H. Eglee (The Walking Dead, Dexter, The Shield) will be joining the show. The site quotes Roth as saying: “The worldwide fan response to Hemlock Grove was phenomenal. Netflix members loved the potent combination of sexy monsters, mystery, and the dark family soap opera that ended with a huge twist, leaving audiences worldwide totally shocked. Season One was just a warm up for what we have in store for season two. Get ready to be scared in ways you never expected.”
