The ever-growing cast of HBO’s Westworld has expanded again, as The Lord Of The Rings star Miranda Otto has signed on to join Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood and Ed Harris.

THR reports that Otto (Rake) will play “Virginia Pittman, the head of the quality assurance department whose brutal honesty with her colleagues and ruthless efficiency in dealing with malfunctioning “property” have made her a formidable and unpredictable power player in Westworld.”

Westworld recently cast Thandie Newton, James Marsden, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro and Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, with production due to start on the first episode later this month. The series comes from Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and is an HBO/Bad-Robot co-production.
