The casting announcements are coming thick and fast for the new Harry Potter TV series! After revealing the three main characters of Harry, Hermione and Ron will be played by Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout respectively, the show has now found its Weasley children. They will be played by Tristan Harland as Fred Weasley, Gabriel Harland as George Weasley, Ruari Spooner as Percy Weasley, and Gracie Cochrane as Ginny Weasley.
They will all join previously-announced cast members John Lithgow (The Rule Of Jenny Pen) as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer (Kaos) as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu (The Lazarus Project) as Severus Snape, Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) as Rubeus Hagrid as series regulars, alongside Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch.
As well as Katherine Parkinson (Rivals) as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy and Johnny Flynn (Emma.) as Lucius Malfoy, Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown, Bel Powley (The Morning Show) as Petunia Dursley, Daniel Rigby (Black Mirror) as Vernon Dursley and Bertie Carvel (Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell) as Cornelius Fudge.

The TV series is said to be a faithful adaptation of the Harry Potter books by author and executive producer J.K. Rowling. Each season will be streaming exclusively on HBO Max where it’s available, including in upcoming launch markets Germany, Italy and the UK.
The series is written and executive produced by Francesca Gardiner (who was a producer on Killing Eve and wrote episodes of His Dark Materials). Mark Mylod (The Menu, Succession) will executive produce and direct multiple episodes of the series. It is executive-produced by J.K. Rowling.
