The final batch of Harry Potter And The Cursed Child character photos are finally here, and they’re excellent.
After getting a look at Harry, Ginny and Albus Severus Potter and the Granger-Weasley clan, we’re going over to the (sort of) dark side with sneak peeks at the Golden Trio’s school rival Draco Malfoy and his son Scorpius.
Draco will be played by Alex Price (Merlin, Penny Dreadful), while Anthony Boyle is taking on the role of Scorpius. It seems as though the events of The Deathly Hallows have knocked the Malfoys down a peg or two, as both look considerably less evil than we’re used to from the pureblood family.
Anthony Boyle as Scorpius could end up being the play’s breakout star. In an interview with Pottermore, JK Rowling said: “I’ve got a feeling Scorpius is going to do nothing to turn girls off the Malfoy men.”
As if this week’s collection of Cursed Child character photos weren’t already enough to get excited about, the play’s official YouTube account also posted a behind the scenes video of the photoshoot, which you can watch here:
We’re feeling strangely emotional.
