In a recent interview with French publication Le Figaro, Harrison Ford has shed more light on a proposed fifth Indiana Jones adventure. Speaking to the newspaper he said:
“The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work.” When asked about donning the fedora one more time, Ford didn’t even hesitate and confirmed that, “If the script is good, I’ll be very happy to put the costume on again.”
This echoes previous news where during Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen’s press tour, star Shia LaBeouf exclaimed: “Steven’s just said that he’s cracked the story.” This signalled that already in the summer a story of sorts was taking form. Put these two quotes together, and it seems that Indy fans are going to have to face up to the grim reality that this iffy daddy/son partnership will be rekindled in this fifth instalment.
