Comedian-turned-actor Eddie Izzard has confirmed his return to Bryan Fuller’s hit horror show Hannibal for Season 2.
“I will be back,” Izzard told Digital Spy. “Everyone’s given me great feedback on Hannibal and I’ve only done two episodes – I really let go in that one!”
Izzard’s character, Abel GIdeon, was a sadistic killer manipulated into believing he was the Chesapeake Ripper by the self-serving Frederick Chilton (Raúl Esparza).
Killed by Will Graham (Hugh Darcy,) who ends the series doing a Reverse Lecter through the glass at Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen), perhaps the increasingly unhinged criminologist will be getting a spectral cellmate to replace Garrett Jacob Hobbs (Vladimir Cubrt).
