Tony Hale will be joining the cast of Chuck for its second year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The trade paper has stated that Hale will be playing the role of Emmett, a new assistant manager at the Buy More store where the titular protagonist of the series works. Emmett is apparently an efficiency expert sent in by the corporation’s head office, who decides to stay after being horrified at the poor management of the store.
Hale has previously played Byron ‘Buster’ Bluth in the critical smash hit Arrested Development, which was unsurprisingly cancelled by Fox in 2006 despite its strong ratings and cult following.
