Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, which started out as a straight up prequel to his bleak 1979 sci-fi horror Alien, has added Australian actor Guy Pearce, best known for The King’s Speech, Memento and LA Confidential, to the cast which also includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Rafe Spall and Logan Marshall-Green.
The film that is currently being shot on a London soundstage, and is due to hitcinemas on June 8 next year.
