Guillermo del Toro’s not exactly short of projects, but one of the films he’s been attached to for years looks like it might finally be moving forward.
The Wrap reports that Ryan Gosling is in talks to star in del Toro’s reboot of The Haunted Mansion, described as a “supernatural family film.”
Del Toro and Gosling’s friendship has developed recently, as the Pan’s Labyrinth director hosted a Q&A for Gosling’s directorial debut Lost River at SXSW, and the pair were seen riding the rides at Disneyland over the Oscar weekend. So it wasn’t just two best friends having the best day ever.
